About Us

Door2Door Gaming was started by two parents who love to play video games with their kids. We grew up playing the classics (think Street Fighter, Mario Bros and Crash Bandicoot to name a few) and today continue our love of gaming playing Mario Kart, FIFA and Minecraft with our kids!

Every year our kids ask for a video game themed party, but we wanted to find an alternative to a gaming bus. We looked through hundreds of nostalgic pictures of us in arcades from when we were 10 years old and talked about how we loved the immersive experiences of all the lights and music. “Why can’t something as immersive exist at home?” we asked. And that’s where the idea for Door2Door Gaming came.

During lockdown, we set up a games room at home, playing our favourite games on supersize projector screens and to help us feel like we were playing at the arcades, we bought uplights and cosy seating. Soon our games room became the talk of the school playground and we wanted to share that same gaming magic with other children.

Our parties have been hailed by birthday boys and girls as the “best I’ve ever had” and we love that feedback! That’s why we aim to make every party special… and even better, our stress-free service means parents can put their feet up and relax whilst we host and manage the kids!
